God sometimes says "no"

I have been praying for relief from loss grief.
I have found peace in the last weeks,
but not relief.
And He has been very quiet the last couple weeks.
Tonight, He spoke.

"I can heal your heart, your pain.

Do you believe that?"

"Yes!"

"I choose not to at this time.

Can you accept My will?"

"Sigh.... Yes, Lord."

The Lord is my strength and my shield;

my heart trusts in Him,

and He helps me.

My heart leaps for joy,

and with my song I praise Him.
