In times of sorrow, it comforts.
In times of weakness, it strengthens.
In times of discouragement, it encourages.
In times of joy, it celebrates.
In times of love, it shows how.
It teaches.
It brings faith.
It is our guidebook for life.
For relationships.
It is all the reading material we need.
It has survived generations of man's attempts to eradicate it.
It is God's Word.
And I am grateful to have it at my fingertips!
For the Word of God is
alive and powerful.
It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword,
cutting between soul and spirit,
between joint and marrow.
It exposes
our innermost thoughts and desires.
